Area Agency on Aging Forum
Here is a heads up for all the candidates. On Oct 7th, the Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging is planning a meeting of LTC and ALF Council Presidents. They are asking candidates to come. Each candidate will be able to have a 3 minute introduction. There will be a Q & A of the candidates from the audience. There will also be a trivia contest between the candidates and the Council Presidents. Subject, previous US Presidents. And the Council, shall we say, handily defeated the candidates last time. Candidates, this is a great opportunity to speak to the Long Term Care community. If you can’t make it, how about a surrogate?
Friday Oct 7th from 9:30 to 11:00 Am PPAAA Community Conference Room
Here is an idea. As a candidate or a concerned Democrat, you want to add to the discussion, you want to express yourself, write a short article and send it to me at Tom@peakdems.org and I will see about getting it posted.
Please note that we may edit it for things like grammar, spelling, space. And I am not guaranteeing that it will make website or newsletter.
We welcome your input.
